Click on Data Admin>Parts to navigate to the list of available Parts. Parts are generally added as part of creating a BOM. This function is primarily around managing the full list of parts that have been included in the system.
To add a new Part, click on and the Create new entry pop-up window is displayed.
Enter the information using the following guide:
FIELD | COMMENT |
Manufacturer Part Number | Enter the part number as supplied by the manufacturer. |
Description | Enter the part description as supplied by the manufacturer. |
Manufacturer | Click on the Manufacturer dropdown and select the Manufacturer to be assigned. See Section 0 to add a new Manufacturer. |
Click on to add the new entry to the list.
Note: Use the search feature by clicking in and entering related text. It is good for finding if like information exists before creating new entries. |
